Pemerintah Kabupaten Lombok Utara tahun depan sudah mulai berencana untuk menertibkan bangunan yang diduga melanggar disempadan pantai Gili Meno dan Gili Air. Identifikasi pun telah dilakukan, di mana muncul data sekitar ratusan unit bangunan yang akan dirobohkan.


Proses untuk penertiban bangunan sempadan pantai di Gili Air dan Meno sedang dilakukan. Sosialisasi dan monitoring pra penertiban juga dilakukan untuk mengingat dalam jangka waktu 3 bulan lagi pembongkaran akan dimulai. Hal ini disampaikan oleh pihak yang terkait dalam proses penertiban sempadan di dua gili.

Kunjungan tim ke sana juga untuk mendengar keluh kesah para pengusaha yang bangunanya melanggar. Tim penertiban dalam hal ini terus menerapkan pendekatan ke pengusaha. Di Gili Meno tim penertiban akan memindahkan bangunannya ke belakang, karena luas tanahnya masih ada.


Penertiban sendiri akan dilakukan pada saat kondisi di pulau pariwisata sedang low season. Namun sebelum itu, penyuratan teguran supaya membongkar bangunan sendiri diberikan sebanyak tiga kali. Untuk pengusaha yang bersedia akan buat surat pernyataan pembongkaran sendiri. Semua tahapan akan dilakukan sesuai rencana.

Keluhan yang diterima dalam monitoring, masih berkutat pada hal klasik, yaitu permasalahannya hampir sama seperti di Gili Trawangan. Misalnya, ada beberapa pengusaha yang mengelola usaha justru dengan cara sewa. Hanya saja, alasan tersebut tidak dapat dijadikan patokan ditundanya penertiban yang sudah terjadwal.

Untuk permintaan masyarakat sebelumnya, yaitu untuk disiapkan lebih dulu mengenai perencanaan pasca penertiban, diantaranya dengan memasang semacam papan informasi rencana dilokasi. Tim penertiban akan segera menindaklanjuti dan akan memasang segera karena design sudah jadi.
