 After the curbing in Gili Trawangan, North Lombok regency government next year has started to plan to curb the allegedly violating buildings on Gili Meno and Gili Air beaches.

 Identification has been done, in which data appear around hundreds of building units to be torn down. has conducted data collection of buildings to be disciplined in Gili Air and Meno. At least hundreds of buildings were identified to be torn down in the near future.

Buildings in Gili Air amounted to 93 units consisting of permanent buildings of 10 units and buildings of semi-permanent 83 units. While in Gili Meno recorded 41 units. This building is a villa, hotels, cafes, stalls, restaurants and others. The building is located on a seaside beach that also crossed the line.

 The next step the government immediately socialize to the community and the initial steps the government will give a letter to tell if their buildings violate. Then there is a statement to dismantle the building itself. The hope that they can dismantle their own buildings as applied in Gili Trawangan not long ago.

 Regarding the time of dismantling will be scheduled to follow. Control of the building will be implemented in 2018. Regarding technical matters concerning the former residual dismantling will be discussed again in a meeting with the team. After the curbing is done for what the master plan will be, Bappeda has the plan.

 Setelah penertiban dilakukan di Gili Trawangan, Pemerintah Kabupaten Lombok Utara (KLU) tahun depan sudah mulai berencana untuk menertibkan bangunan yang diduga melanggar disempadan pantai Gili Meno dan Gili Air. 
Identifikasi pun telah dilakukan, di mana muncul data sekitar ratusan unit bangunan yang akan dirobohkan. telah melakukan pendataan bangunan yang akan ditertibkan di Gili Air dan Meno. Setidaknya ratusan bangunan diidentifikasi untuk dirobohkan dalan waktu dekat.

Bangunan di Gili Air jumlahnya sebanyak 93 unit yang terdiri dari bangunan permanen 10 unit dan bangunan semi permanen 83 unit. Sementara di Gili Meno tercatat 41 unit. Bangunan ini adalah vila, hotel, kafe, warung, restoran dan lain-lain. Bangunan tersebut berlokasi disempadan pantai yang juga melanggar batas.


Langkah selanjutnya pemerintah segera melakukan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat dan langkah awal pemerintah akan memberikan surat untuk memberitahu jika bangunan mereka melanggar. Kemudian ada surat pernyataan untuk bongkar bangunan sendiri. Harapannya agar mereka dapat membongkar bangunannya sendiri sebagaimana yang diterapkan di Gili Trawangan belum lama ini.


Mengenai waktu pembongkaran akan dijadwalkan menyusul. Penertiban bangunan itu akan dilaksanakan pada tahun 2018 mendatang. Mengenai hal teknis menyangkut bekas sisa pembongkaran akan dibahas kembali dalam rapat dengan tim. Setelah penertiban dilakukan untuk master plannya seperti apa nantinya, Bappeda yang mempunyai rencana itu.
